Fix the audio. Fix the audio. Fix the audio. Also, fix the audio. POLISH the game before you post it if you want to maintain a positive reputation. Also, using the "Breakout" theme as a fail-safe isn't a good idea, because then the game has to be flawless to be considered unique. Good intention, bad execution. Maybe next time.
Two suggestions:
1. Include a replay button, it's a lot more noticeable than pressing R.
2. Set the counter to increase when the rock hits the paddle, not the ceiling. Otherwise, it doesn't count all hits.
Rocks: The Game is about as fun as it sounds. The game begins by telling you there are three different types of rocks. Then it goes to a lesson that isnt there and then a cheap knock off of breakout without bricks. When you lose, your options are to restart the game or the whole application. It is a joke or an attempt to plug a game website. Either way it is crap. Blammed!
Alright... so not only are there no rocks... it is basically a brick breaker game with no bricks? I am not seeing the point. It is like playing tennis with a wall...
Too buggy. I made the rock bounce for 45 times, then it fell down the screen and nothing else happened. I can only move the green pad around the white screen. No buttons that lead me to the main menu, nothing. I don't really see the point of this game. Bad graphics and poor technical realization. Introducing the lessons about the rocks is an interesting idea, but everyting else is missing here...
