Not bad, but could use a few tweaks. I've played a lot of Breakout games in my life, and this is nothing great, but it is a little different. One, show the mouse on the screen or have it work off the game. It's better if you know that you are about to lose focus so you can readjust. Two, the power ups fall too fast to catch, or if you don't want them, you don't have time to react to not catch them. Three, the ball should not bounce into the score. It's hard to tell where it is going with the score in the foreground. Finally, give a second or two for the ball to be aimed AFTER the board is drawn, so we have a better idea of where to aim at the beginning. That is all.

Thanks for your detailed criticism! I'll mess around with some of the values.

Seems to be a glitch that makes the game jump through the stages, it did it a few times, once jumping about 5 stages

I've had this bug report before, I can't reproduce it. I don't know how to fix it as a result.

Nice game! Very well made! It's quite hard though... I like the idea of the power ups that you have to avoid, in most breakout/pong games the power ups are all good. This has a lot of potential. Well done.

I think it's very well put together, the effects play nice, and the physics are just about perfect. A settings page would be a great place to allow a person to change the mouse sensitivity, but aside from that it's a fun, and an addicting brick breaker.

Thanks! I had fun making it!
The mouse controls are linked to your current mouse speed, so whatever that is.
