This is not a game. This is a musical toy to have fun with :3
I've finally released the fourth version of Sheepwolf Mixer.
I'm now using this new account as well. I hope you guys enjoy this new version
EDIT: Thanks for the daily feature :3
Awesome! Instant favorite. Nice variety of sounds, I'm getting some good mixes. Great job.
10/10, but what I really wanted to say is, Tell your dog hi back for me!!! XD.
I'm amazed with this.
This is a flash that is soooo easy to use, but lets you make so much cool mixes
It's also cool that you've made so many loops, but they all sound good togheter, no matter what I choose, the mixing quality sounds really decent, SPECIALY because this is not a professional mixing software, but a flash game!
I really don't mind that I have to close my other tab, because you did a great job on simulating a "pseudo mixing" software on a flash game! (I was used to make flash applications myself, I know flash has it's limitations) So I really understand the need to do that, this game deserves it, besides that, this game just deserves to be played how it's supposed to be played. No one is forcing me to close everything, it's just a recommendation.
You also did a great job on the interface, No one talks about the interface!?!?
The variety of colors and textures gives you a lot of possibilities as well. the interface has it's merits as well. (But yeah, the music is the best thing here)
Overall, this submission is amazing
The real reason why you have to close other games and youtube videos, IS bad coding...
You don't need to take up all those audio channels just to mix music. Sure, it's convoluted and probably more work than you're caring to put into something like this... but don't act as if it can't be done. We're not talking bad coding in the sense it won't compile, and honestly without seeing any source code it's hard to judge, but as a general rule of thumb if you've created something that asks it's users to close other programs or else it won't run properly you've probably coded it badly.
If i stop loops to save some audio channels, when you play them again, they wont play in the correct sync... so I cant stop loops to save audio channels... and yes, the keyboard keys are playing (even if you don't press a key) you just can't hear them, but they are still playing... and why? because these are loops as well, they are musical sequences, if they stop playing when you dont press keys, they will be out of sync because other loops are still playing... when you press a key, they will play out of sync... everything would sound like garbage
There are different musical games that dont ask you to close other flash games, but they dont need all available audio channels... You're not able to play 2 keyboards at the same time like on this game (24 keys=24 audio channels that need to be used) AND you're not able to play extra loops on top of it... total=31 (flash limit is 32 at the moment, so, You actually have only one audio channel available here, but only one)
The nature of this game is just like that. the only solution is to decrease keyboard keys or remove some loops, and that would sacrifice the mixing possibilities and fun
very very good i enjoyed it very much the only other thing ic ould come up with is a little more selction and a way to share your creations but very well done
There is no game. Trust me. DO NOT PLAY!
