This only gets 3 stars for the story. As an animation as a whole it was very lacking. The narration was not standardised, but in virtue of that I can see where you tried to place emphasis.

But the story was great and you emulated the nature of the characters perfectly. I was ready to click it off but it was somehow, very, compelling.

This is a list of what you need-
Proficient Animators
Voice Acting
A secondary writer to help you with your work

If you go to the Flash Forum, and Collabs section I am sure you will find these things.

With the right people you may actually be able to create your own Dragon-Ball Saga.

Good Luck.

I like the idea behind this, it has a good story so far.

I have a few complaints, but i'm sure everyone has already made them.

1. planets arent shaded balls with ms paint lines around them.
- if you can draw Goku you can do that
2. kamahamaha is not big bang attack
3. voice actors or rather why did you only have the clock say anything
4. have someone oversee your English, it needs help.
5. spell check

Other than those minor things, it is an interesting idea and i would love to see this continued. Please keep some of this in mind when creating your next submission and I'm sure you will draw more credit to yourself as an animator. Keep up the good work!

OK, so as far as I can tell, this is based off the DBZ webcomic that I've seen fanart of but have not bothered to read until now.

The story is an interesting concept but for guys like me, a bit of a headache to keep up with. The whole different universe thing really annoys me because it can get really confusing.

As for the flash itself, as good as the animation was, it probably needed a bit more because it felt like some scenes were traced over and had animation added to it like the VGCats comics that were being uploaded here. I even noticed a few errors here and there like when you see the shot of Goten and Trunks talking to the aliens, the hands looked messed up a bit. Which is why tracing doesn't do much good, especially when you add more to it. I mean, there was an old Kingdom Hearts manga animation adaptation that did the same thing and everything looked so poorly animated. Which is why when a comic should be adapted to animation, I think trying to animate panels should be done the same way most manga to anime adaptations do it, from what I noticed. Try having more than just characters standing there. I think adding a little more than what actual comic suggests is a great idea.

As for the music, sure it was remixed but it was fitting. But, I don't think you'll have your animation taken down for copyright laws and such mainly because your not using it for profit. Plus, many DBZ animations from 2003 and later have done it and they're still on the site up until now. So, I don't think you'll get in trouble.

Anyway, this was good for a nostalgia trip (seeing that I haven't seen much of DBZ in a while) and I noticed some improvement. Keep it up and good luck with finding voice actors.

much appricate for your critic!

here some replies:
"Try having more than just characters standing there. I think adding a little more than what actual comic suggests is a great idea." the thing you try to point out here is called "Filler". and filler is hated. episode 2 have more action on it. not like this one only standings around (even i didn like that myself).

about audio. yeah. maybe its ok to do it here in NG. but what about Youtube? YT is copyright claims in person!

i guess i will add voice actors into EP2.when i found some X_x

I don't know who wrote this or if it's based on some official manga, but I stopped watching when they got to the "Multiverse Tournament" part. It's a boring and lame idea for a plot. I mean, I know it's DBZ and tournaments are popular in the series. But the "Let's gather fighters from different dimensions and pit the against each other" is a little too unoriginal for my tastes. That and the whole "I'll destroy the mulitverse by killing the original universe." I hope they don't go in that direction.

bocodamondo responds:

i think that idea pretty fun and cool. but everyone and his own opinion ^^

maybe you should have added some voice work, we know it won't be the real onces but it's just make it look more alive and it beat's the hell out reading and taking your eyes out of the main content.

Also the beginning was kinda of a startle like everything was just thrown in to a dish at once.
you should have made the beginning start slower letting your audience in slowly and smoothly
into the story your trying to compose. I know you probably play this in your head a thousand times and
expect to achieve without enough man power if any. but maybe that's what let it go to your head and vise verse create it too fast before you inspiration is gone.I if you ain't going to do things right then don't do
it at all. just look at me i been here since 2004 and have not ever release anything. because my first animation has to be the best dam! thing ever. i made lots of tiny animations but has never met the public or will it.

I believe once you make you first mark then that's how people will see as an artist so you have got to make it count the first even if it takes you 40yrs it will be all worth it.

so the question is how do want to be remember for? My answer is to be the best committed artist ever.
what this means is, i want to be the best real artist who it true to himself and by giving %900 attitude. in this case i will deliver the best and most powerful story ever told on newgrounds it will be so powerful that it will tare the most top dog here on newgrounds into the next 34 dimensions.

well see ya, hope this helps.
