Edit2: Just to point a few things out because people are getting confused.
1: There are six levels, not just one.
2: The medals do work, they just don't pop up telling that you have unlocked them. (Did you really want me to add more stuff to the mayhem :P)
3: Yes it's short but it's just a test to see if the idea is good. I'm planning to flesh it out in a sequel sometime later =)

Hello theres =).
I was bored, so I decided to make a flash game about killing and destroying cute things...'cause that's what ye do :P.
Controls:
Left/Right Arrow Keys - Move
Up Arrow Key - Jump
A - Shoot Side by Side
S- Shoot upwards.
(There is a help/how to play option so check that out if ye want)
It's simple simple, no brainer, blast everything you can to score points, type of game. Basically just shoot everything you can with-in 15 seconds and try and earn a high score! The scores are posted to NG scoreboards too! Also there be a handful of medals to unlock as well =).
I know it's a short, easy game but it's pretty fun to blast for a couple of minutes. Vent off some steam. However while beta testing I did start to figure out patterns to earn really high scores, so there is some type of challenge to it. (Me and my girlfriend were trying to beat each other on scores...didn't end well.)
If people like this game, I'll most likely make a sequel 'cause I have left fair bit of room for expansion :P.

(Also I've added an option for the amount/detail of explosions. It's default it "medium". You can change it to either, low, medium or high, in the options menu.)

Like you said, it is a pretty short game. But don't let the shortness deter you guys from playing it. The animation is brilliant. The explosions are pretty... explosive. It's a good thing you added an option to tone it down. It was starting to hurt my eyes.
The controls were very fluid. So I honest to god, appreciated that. But what I loved most was probably the music itself. Who did the soundtrack? If possible you should put up the credits for the music, and/or have a link to where I can get the sounds for it.
All and all, it was a very good game. Keep it up, maybe for the next sequel have a storyline or increasing difficult waves of enemies.
Aye, the main reason I wanted to make it short was just to test out the idea and see if it would get a good reaction. (Didn't want to over complicate it ect, ect.) If/when I make a sequel I've got stuff planned like, story mode, characters and weapon customization. I made the music so I thought there be no need for adding me name in the credits :P. If people start asking for the music I don't mind uploaded a version to the audio portal =). Really glad ye liked the game!
