We've taken all the popular features from the original "casual" bullet hell DN8, the evolving power-ups, being able to select your own path, the random soundtrack and pushed them forward with the use of stage3D*.

Also new to this version are unlockable perks, along with more challenges than before.

Enjoy the destruction.

*The game defaults to 30fps to enable it to run on the widest majority of machines. If you've got a good graphics card please go to Options > Graphics and knock it up to 60.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to using stage3D ( ie GPU Acceleration ) this won't work on all machines. If it doesn't work on yours please accept our apologies in advance for your wasted time.

v1.1:
Hi-scores display
Perk bug fixed
If the GPU isn't compatible, software mode still allows you to play the game ( Although it won't be great ).

v1.2:
Medals should be fixed ( Sorry about that ).
Suicide kills no longer work on bosses ( Thanks everyone who pointed that out ).
Experimental fullscreen mode. It only allows mouse controls, and space to pause. This is more GPU heavy so in some cases performance may be reduced.

v1.3
Minor tweaks.

I agree a lot with SHfan84 and psymagic's review of this game. It's really an improvement of the former game, and I enjoyed it a lot.

I would definetly play this again, if I get the mood for shooting around. I also like that the difficulty isn't insane like it is in so many other bullet hell games, because I don't want THAT much frustration. I'm a casual gamer, regarding bullet-hell games.

It's not the best game, it could use minor improvements, however I give it 5 stars because it actually lives up to its purpose and expectations.

This game is actually pretty freaking good. But I left after awhile to continue later on my high score run. And when I came back the game had sent me back to the part where it asks about upgrading the spread of my secondary weapon. And then when I select play the screen goes black and nothing else. A bit disappointing after playing it as long as I did and how high a score I got. Oh well. At least I'm 5th. :T

Compared to the original, which I very much liked, its really nice to see a refurbished version.

The new graphics improve the game a huge deal, the only negative thing to say is, the bullets were easier to spot and avoid due to their sharp edge in the original version.

What I really like more in the first version, was the music and sound effects.
That gritty drum and bass got me going and the old retro sound effects fitted nicely.

This is pretty good! Yeah, the bgm did get pretty annoying at times. It's in the right genre and sounds spacey, but it's still confused and bloopy and bleepy, y'know? Redundant. Good power-ups, they really made the game easier (though I know a lot of people in this genre like bleeding-hellish-painful-hard-extreme-whatever difficulty, so I could see how a lot might say it's too easy) and I never had a problem with one-shotting a boss or anything but I didn't play through much more than the basics. Nice 3D, too!
I wouldn't recommend it as a timeless go-to game to my buddies, but I'd recommend it for a nice one-time or two-times game. I like it, it's nice and I can appreciate the work put into it. :)

Thanks :) To be honest it is what it is, a 15 min shooter, there's no real depth to it, sometimes you just want to switch off and shoot things, and hopefully this is what this is.

Good game, the upgrades make it easier to keep playing. But canĀ“t stand the backgroung music, most of the levels have a BGM that sounds almost the same as the last level.
