As science looks more and more at the human body with greater technology, we have begun to come full circle in understanding what the ancients knew about the heart, the brain, and divine consciousness. What is the heart? Is it more than just a pump for blood? Or could the truth about its power be related to the essence of your entire being, and have a field of energy so great that it can transform not just your own being into that of light, love and happiness, but even those around you. What is the shining light of the heart, and how can you access it and gain the inner knowing of who you are and why you are here?

Its interesting but i feel people are more of brain thinkers. Not many people think with compassion or even think before they do things, nor do they wonder who heir actions affect.

Quite interesting

But if the heart is so important, how come having an artificial heart/pacemaker doesn't affect your behavior and/or your mental ability ?

Carlos Castaneda reported that don Juan spoke of proper intent for a man of knowledge.
Q. How does a man of knowledge decide which path to embark upon?
A. The path with Heart is the only proper path for life.

Of course I'm paraphrasing. I don't have the book in front of me, but that was an easy lesson to internalize.
What I like about your stuff is the modern, clinical explanations for the lesson we might have intuited by ourselves if we weren't waiting for a clinical explanation.
Why don't we trust ourselves? Why must we have corroboration from a clinical source before we can say that it's "proved?" Maybe it's the proliferation of bad information that causes our reflexive skepticism. I guess it's good when we're skeptical of information brought for our consumption, but it's significant to me that the info you bring doesn't seem like news to me... it's a clinical explanation of something I already knew-- something primordial, something that didn't require words.
Bodily knowledge is ahead of the curve. The brain only brings existing knowledge to the forefront, where it can be ruminated upon and slowed down to the point where it can be tagged with language.
