Unique platforming/flying mechanic used to escape the ancient tombs. Use the left and right Arrow keys to fly. Fly in one direction to fly higher.
This game starts off good. But there are points where I don't want the bird to fly, and only walk. However, seeing how there's no way for me to keep it on the ground, after pushing left/right, makes it a bit diffcult. Music is good, and I like the sound effects.
It was interesting, but gliding was a little difficult. Too difficult for me to want to continue past the moving stones.
I like a lot of the games that Nitrome has put onto Newgrounds, but everybody has their bad moments, and I'd have to say that this is one of Nitrome's bad moments.
You should make the bird fly whit space because is to hard to make the bird fly and stay flyng
While it is indeed a unique play style, it is a frustrating, repetitive and not a very fun one. The concept of having to go sideways to fly does make sense, but having the ability to walk and/or maintain altitude better would have been extremely appreciated. Maybe hit space to toggle between flying/walking?
Overall it's playable, but not very fun. Great music though.
1 the animation for the bird(especially in flight) make it very difficult to tell when you are going to slip by unscathed or DIE.
2 running into a vertical surface should not make you plummet it should make you hover.
3 acceleration for ascent is either short curve until you reach to top speed or constant with no top speed do not attempt to make it both.
4 momentum should not carry over when switching from ascent to glide.
pick any two to make this game significantly better.
