Pokemon in a Pong style like game! I posted this on DeviantArt a few days ago. Use the mouse to move the character and score points to inflict damage on the opponent. You win when you get the opponent to 0 HP.

Had no sounds while I played, my son enjoyed it though that is the only reason why I gave it 2.5 instead of a 2 or lower. Saw a couple of time that the second character go below screen and sometimes when the ball was past the character, it would still bounce it back.

I actually liked it.

I don't know what's wrong with the other reviewers, but it's fairly easy and you get very much money very quickly. The basic game remains the same all the time though, no upgrades on the ball speed or anything. The only thing you have to know is how to play pong (dodge the ball as closely to the edge as possible for maximum vertical movement to trick out the CPU, that's the whole game).
The pokémon theme gave it a nice touch. I like pokémon.
But after the first ten rounds it gets boring. I am on my 14th streak now with 71k somewhat money, and nothing really happened. As mew appeared I thought this might be a boss battle after which some outro scene ends the game, but in fact it just keeps on and on and you can't even spend your money because the items are limited. I see the point in limiting them, it makes the initial gameplay remain for you, so you can't just bomb the enemy away with over 9000 upgrades, but it would be nicer, if you'd have made some changes to the gameplay itself after a while. Or some end boss feature or something.
Besides that, the balancing is boring, but well thought of. Everything fits together quite well, and it is not impossible to get everything.
So, good job!

The pokeball needs to move faster between the two pokemon, I could easily switch away from the page as soon as I hit the ball and not worry about it for almost 10 seconds sometimes. I'm, literally writing this review between vollies.

Then there is the Squirtle issue which others have pointed out. I can sit here for hours trying to get the ball past him and it just won't happen unless I get uber lucky.
