I agree with the person below me (Rip-Saw). There need to be check points of some sort. The levels are tough, which is fine and all, but they are also long. Many challenges, once figured out, only become tedious and boring if they need to be done over and over.
It's basically a rehash of your old game Dangle, but with a revamped control scheme, better graphics (in my opinion), and crappier music (i my opinion). Not your best game. But not your worst either.
Great game, fun mechanics; but seriously? You guys still use left-handed controls?
Alright. So the graphical quality and the sort of "gloopy" theme is both appealing to the eyes and also follows the game flow and look very well. The use of a tether and the elements you could encounter created various challenges that all required different strategies, forms of thinking, and even different forms of skill to a certain degree; not to mention the learning/difficulty scale is great. Now, with all this said I can truly say this was enjoyable with excellent game mechanics and awesome background and foreground.
So then why am I giving a 3/5 if I have nothing good to say?
Well it settles like this. Nitrome sends out high quality games with great aesthetic quality, fun musical backgrounds, and various game types; but you guys still have very little value towards gaming with your control schemes.
There needs to be more options aside from graphical quality of high and low, there needs to be at least a choice between left-handed control scheme (arrow keys) and right-handed control scheme (WASD keys). Gaming is far easier for most people with the WASD keys. This is a proven fact. I'm a left-handed guy but honestly, I can't stand using arrow keys. You guys have released lots of great games, but people have been constantly complaining about no use of the WASD keys. I would be happier if you responded more to user input by producing more options in control.
Other then that great game, but I refuse to give a higher rating when this issue with control has never been changed.

The startup was all fun, but when you get in the middle... pfff. All rage breaks loose. Damn those bombs.

This game is quite interesting and it has a series of peaceful levels. I would recommend this to just about anyone! :D
