I made this game for Ludum Dare 23 competition in under 48 hours. The theme for the games was "Tiny World".

Tiny Island Adventure tells us a story about young, girl mechanic Lydia, who once build her house on a floating island, but for her misfortune, it one night suddenly flew to the sky with her and her house on it!
Ever since she has been stuck high in the sky.. until one day another floating island appears next to hers. Lydia decides to explore the new island, in hopes that she could figure how to escape from the tiny floating islands.
Controls:
Use Arrow Keys to move, Z to Jump, Up arrow to enter doors.
Enter to advance text or start the game in main menu
P to pause, - and + to adjust sound and 0 to mute.
Esc to skip the intro.

I had a very fun time playing this game but like others have said it lacks in story. I enjoyed just about everything else about it except occasionally getting caught on the edge between bridge and ground. A little more time spent on music and story (maybe where she goes next) would be cool.

Reminded me a bit of Super Mario: "I search Peach! What? Not here? Again a damn talking mushroom? Naaahhh!". Just kidding. Some parts getting very annoying, because the character wears very slippery shoes. That makes jumping very confusing & mostly frustrating, if you have to jump to several breaking blocks. I'm not too far away to say: Typically "Stencil" problems...

Great little platformer, I really enjoyed it. Several flaws really interfered with the game though...
The physics are a little wonky; e.g. when pushing a box over a long distance, you have to take several pushes because you slow down to a stop (??).
Music was just awful, sorry to say.
Also difficulty was kind of high... how about giving the player 3 hearts or something, instead of EVERYTHING causing instadeath.

This Game is pretty short..you could have made this to a great game.But this is just too...Raw.The Sounds are shitty,Music is monotonous and i'd like to learn more about Lydia...The Idea is a good one,but you've put not enough efford in it.Therefore only 2.5 Stars Buddy :(
