Fucking hilarious. I love the amount of stereotyping put in here. The satire is well balanced & makes a perfect formula. This is truly Art games in a nutshell.
Fucking nailed it. I don't think you could capture the 'pretentious vaguely interesting puzzle mechanic love story game' stereotype any better.
I played number 2 and I thought I would try out number one. This story was good too! The ending was unexpected and made me sad. The music fit right in. It was fun to play as well. Good job!
Pretentious but brilliant.
Short but perfectly formed.
Normally I hate this kind of game, but it mixes just the right amount of satire and story reinforced with game play to make it work exceedingly well. The story and characters are vague because the love isn't real. It's all fabricated in the protagonist's mind. The ending left me in quite a place of bewilderment. It was a pretentious game, but used its game play to brilliantly convey a poignant message. This is the standard we should hold our art games to. Definitely not game play wise, but story wise and how the game play supports the story. It's structured, it's reinforced, It's beautiful.
You find yourself on a starship, adrift. The computer is counting down to something...
