Made in under 48 hours for Ludum Dare 23.
UPDATE: Two minor bugs have been fixed since the game was submitted. No gameplay changes, just minor annoyances.

if this had a sound track and lacked the annoying mechanic of not letting you see your sprite when he was off the top of the view field, then it would be a five.
and five stars would have reigned down from the emotional heavens to grace you with their love.

Pretty awesome game! Very addictive but too bad that there isnt a soundtrack, this is one of the pixel games you would expect a nice 8 bit soungtrack with

Really nice game, getting better the more you play it. The fact you never die is a nice choice and the difficulty is very appropriate. At first I thought "I will never beat this game before I grow bored" but actually I never grew bored and fine tuned my jump skill and knowledge of the level try after try.
I can't give it more than 3.5 though, because there's no soundtrack at all and the game is short and with not much space for replayability.
