Made in under 48 hours for Ludum Dare 23.
UPDATE: Two minor bugs have been fixed since the game was submitted. No gameplay changes, just minor annoyances.

Great game. A lot like the older Mario games which is a good thing. Having played so many of them I felt right at home. I enjoyed how you would get from world to world. Orb number nineteen in the desert level was very difficult to get since you had to blindly jump from block to block. Once I figured out how hard to push the buttons I was able to get it though. I agree that music would have been nice, but there is plenty of music on newgrounds to listen to. By picking your own music it gives the game the feeling you want it to have instead of just forced music.

for the type of game of it is a short platformer with no story line i think it was good little game. It was a quick little game but still fun and a little challenging. But i agree with sharpnova if it had a soundtrack and you could see the sprite when it was off the view field it would be a much greater game. I love the concept of when you die you go to another world.
