I started this film back in July last year. Its finally coming close to completion so I thought it was time to release a trailer. Gerkinman Returns tells the story of Gerkinman, who has spent the last 7 years trying to fit in with society after leaving his home town of Nimbin. He finally realizes he has no place in the city and decides to return home.

Oh my gosh that brought back so many memories, at that one part where he picks up the photo and it shows the three other guys, I miss them all. I really can't wait to see them again!
As for the visuals and such, it looks a lot different, but it's welcoming, the texture in the coloring is very unique and interesting, and I think it will be very cool to watch!
Its a more polished look then the original series had, tho the guy who animated episodes 3-5 of the original Nimbin series was working more as a consultant on this project as opposed to an actual animator.

I enjoyed it aesthetically and the timing certainly kept my attention.
I do wish to see the full movie sometime this year. You know, if file size permits. :/

The film is being created with the new media player in mind so the file size should not pose much of an issue. As far as a release date, only 12 shots remain to be fully animated and rendered and then the sound design needs to be done and the film is complete.
