This flash is an interesting throwback to an earlier era of flash animation, but it does not deserve to be the highest rated flash on Newgrounds. I realize that this isn't your fault, but god damn.

This animation is about fighting out of love instead of fighting out of hate, but mostly about fighting.
Good sprite animations have gotten pretty rare. I aim to fix that, at least a little bit!
This movie skips frames on some computers, so I suggest you turn the lights out or LAUNCH POPUP if it gets choppy.

One line I considered for the description of this movie was something like, "Remember when Newgrounds was about mindless violence, and nothing else?" It's more that I've been watching Flash animations forever that this one reminds you of the old days. It's just that's what I know.

I thought this was a decent cartoon. My only complain is that it did seem to go on a bit too long. I guess I was just expecting something more epic with that length. Of course, I have to give you credit for using such cool characters and animation. You would think impaling someone wouldn't be a game. Maybe he's just immortal.
It's cool to see how perspective is used. I love it when people use that transition effect when a big attack is about to be made. It's when that white swirly stuff appears while the screen is being freeze framed. The sprite animation is nicely done too. It seems like I see fewer and fewer of those things nowadays.
I really enjoy fight flashes, and it's usually hard to find any good ones. That being said, this flash was good. Clean sprites, exciting action and nice character design! Had me wondering about the outcome, which is sadly rare for me in "fight flashes" as I call them. Great job!
