Needs a lot more work, The animation was a bit choppy. The boss fight was ridiculous and didn't make much sense. He just appeared all over and hurt pikachu instantly. I get that hes a ghost but still. I like the choice in music and sprites. Could be better and more time could have been invested into it.

Attack's are a little to basic. The game play is good, but if the attacks covered more than one small area it would be great.

It looked like a great idea and I was excited, but to be honest I didn't have fun while playing it. There are a couple of things that annoy me. When you die, you have to start over at the very beginning. There are no items to replenish your health, and half the time you don't even know when you're losing health. It was too "easy" to lose health actually. You end up in the very proximity of an enemy, and it just happens. Farther more, it seemed like pure luck that you win. The very first boss with Haunter was very difficult because it seemed like there weren't any chances to hit him and he kept jumping around so much that it was seemed practically impossible to dodge. I was able to dodge a lot but he still just kept coming at me that my health kept dropping the whole time. I'm not saying to dumb down the boss fights and make them easy and boring, but they do deserve a fighting chance. I gave up on the second level because everything kept coming at me- the Pokemon from the sides and the poke balls from above. I kept getting very hurt, and I didn't even know what was happening til it was too late. Apparently there's a huge part that you forgot to mention- you hurt yourself if you press z for too long. So I ended up killing myself that way, and I was too frustrated to give the game yet another go.

It felt more like target practice instead of a Pokemon defending itself, which may have been what you were aiming for, but it didn't feel very Pokemon to me so I'm personally disappointed. It just felt like the game was very random and about luck. If you won, you won. If you didn't, then you didn't. May I make a suggestion that I think would really catch on? This is something I've been wanting to see come out for a while. An adventure platforming game ( think Kirby ) where you're Pikachu and you can use attacks on other Pokemon and dodge as you go.
