Whenever I played Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow, I never had HM05 (Flash) at the first dark cave.. I can still hear the Zubat cries to this day.
Also, what video games should I do animations for next? I'm considering doing more Pokemon animations, maybe a series in the Kanto region.. Or Kirby or something.

when i tried to get through without flash i just mapped out the tunnel by counting my steps and seeing how long it took me to make the "running into a wall" noise. i wandered for days before finnaly finding the warm, happy, glowing exit with so much joy that i'd be finnaly out of htat wretched cave. and found myself at the entrance. none of that horrible "everything is trying to kill me" vibe you got
I don't think that was Pokemon you were playing.

I really really enjoyed this. I had a pretty similiar problem in rock tunnel.
