Momentum is a challenging platform game. I didn't want it to be too easy, so some of the later levels are a real challenge to complete. But in no way impossible. The levels are designed to gradually increase the difficulty level so that the game should (hopefully!) never feel too hard.

After you finish the game, you can go back to any level to try and collect all the candy for added challenge.

The controls are very simple. Press LEFT to increase your momentum to the left, and press RIGHT to increase your momentum to the right. Escape brings up the pause menu in game, and M mutes the sound. Press R to restart a level.

The constant jumping was annoying and left no room for error. One mistake and I'd fall and have to start again. And getting to the start is hard when you're constantly jumping... 2.5 Stars.

Graphics were good the interface and menus were clean and presentable. The backgrounds were sufficient not spectacular, just grass sky and clouds basically. I enjoyed the 8-bit style. It wasn't very animation heavy but I don't think it was necessary anyway so what you had looked right and was done tastefully. Nice touch on the bloody death on the spikes.

The audio was good sound fx were done right with the light sound for his bounce and the sounds for when he picks up the orbs. I also enjoyed the cheesy audio recordings for when you die. The music was simple and catchy would've nice to have an alternate tune because hearing the same loop over and over can get old after a while.

The gameplay was done well it's something unique. Nicely designed levels you used the platforms and spike traps creatively. You also gave a nice steady introduction to the gameplay in the first 3 levels. Overall I feel like I had good control over my character, it begins to feel natural after you get through a few levels. The game was challenging but not frustrating which is about where it should be.

Overall the good game probably not something I'll come back to but good enough to make me want to see it through to the end.

Its nice, I'll give it that. The controls are simple, but perhaps a little too much. The constant jumping is pretty challenging, but not always in a good way. Regardless, its not a bad game. Keep at it!

Your right its challenging, but its hard to get a paused moment with the thing bouncing all the time. Most platforming games give you intervals to look ahead and decide on how to jump.
