this is awsome! unike these guys i like the dificulty level. lets it last longer. anyway good job this is a great game
Great game! The controls are simple, yet very effective. The only issue is how very often, you have to retry a level a few times (or a lot more then that) to figure out what it is you're supposed to do when given an obstacle. With the screen moving behind you, you're left trying things in front of said "obstacle", dying because of the advancing screen, then having to work your way back to said obstacle and try to figure it out again, over and over.
I love this game! VERY unique! This DEFINITELY has me thinking how you even thought of this.
However the difficulty might be a little too high. I found myself retrying level 1 about 3 times before I beat it. The thing that got me mad was that each time I died I was so close to the goal.
Level 2 is no easy task either. I haven't beat it up to now. Im using a laptop mouse pad though :P
This game can be pretty addictive though, which is one of the reasons I really stayed fot it.
Nice job non-the-less!
the screen should move with him so its like he is always in the center of the screen because every single time i go to level 8 i get killed by the screen
This game certainly is fun, but it has issues.
Assuming Level 1 is meant to be a Tutorial level, it kinda raises the question of maybe this game needs to have the difficultly scaled back if you die a couple of times on this particular level.
The game doesn't seem to have any clear idea of what it wants to be; a side scrolling shooter, a block moving puzzle game or a 'nimble mouse movement' game. It chops and changes so frequently, by the time you get used to one type of gameplay, it suddenly changes again.
The physics seem to be a little against the player as well, as I quite often found blocks getting stuck in places I needed to go. Also, seeing as this mostly seems to be a case of trial and error most of the time, I don't see the point of having a score that keeps defaulting back to zero every time you die. In fact I was interested in getting through the level than how many points I was getting.
Despite all the above, the game is fun and it keeps you coming back to have another go at a failed level, even if its to prove that the slightly broken physics that you won't fall for the same trick twice.
