We still miss you Edd....

This was quite short yet rather moving at the same time.

Nice to see that you got your start by being inspired by Edd and soon began to make your own flash animation and improving over time until you got to a style you really enjoyed working with.

The graphics are rather simple since aside from the Earth and space the rest was black and white with some text describing how Edd inspired you.

While the song is very uplifting I feel that possibly a different choice in song could have been used. Maybe something a little more ambient sounding.

Overall, wonderful tribute piece.

Short and moving.

I think that while this piece was as I said above, short and moving, it could have been longer and perhaps more moving than what you put forward. Yes, it adds your own personal touch to it, but that was so vague and a little sterilised, perhaps even impersonal. It lacked depth and enough gravity to be a truly touching tribute to an inspirational guy, whom I had the pleasure to meet in London a couple of times. When the group at large reconvened in January this year, we could not have imagined that one of our talismans was about to lose his battle with cancer. Personally, I never even knew he was ill, but that's how he wanted it.

Yeah, you may not have had the experience with meeting him, but I'm sure he inspired you to do more than download and learn how to make flash. Add some voices, some more animation and really push the boat out, people are usually very generous, when marking these sorts of pieces, as you tug on their heart-strings and really make an impression.

I'm sure you can do it.
