Ragnarok Eternal is a tale of burrito, grinding, cash shops, and griefers. Don't worry about today's date, this game requires a 12 week playthrough to complete. Stockholders, chocolate, etc, happy april fools.

now the NG version had a lot of the flashy effects thrown out of the window because there are too many flash apps on the screen already

so if you want to play the version with full effects and NO LAG, follow this link: f
(^remember to remove the space)

Sorry for not working this out properly.

--- known issues ---
1. jumping through lava pit will make your character disappear: please do not attempt to access unfinished content
2. slide kicking Zealotus to death will make your character disappear: my bad

also will include map and keyboard based dialogue in future releases, thanks for the complaints, meant a lot.

This was one of the most fun adventure games I've played in years, with a levelling system that doesn't simply scale you up to "unstoppable badass" by the time you're near the end. The final non-hardmode boss (es?) was (were?) awesome, and really gave the game an MMO feel without the MMO setbacks. Unfortunately, yes, there is a glitch I've found that is worthy of mention: the final boss(es) lack(s) comprehension of stairs, and the entrance makes it so that only the magic attacks can even hit you. The other attackers merely slide across the floor uselessly, screaming and generally being useless. Though, arguably, this isn't so much a bug as the ineptitude of many (SPOILER)s...

Great game! There's not many aspects to improve on besides length and bug fixes. The only bugs I saw were the headgear kind of disappearing for split seconds, and I fell through the floor on Majorous once...

I did beat the main 3 normal bosses at level 1 with no stats/skills (yes it's possible, they don't give exp), then proceeded to the extra bosses and defeated them, winding up at level 6. I then went and killed Wanderer which got me to level 7. I did not see any "interesting bonuses" from doing so besides the bonus for beating Zealotous before level 4. I guess that makes me an April fool... don't bother with the no stat/skill challenge unless you're just after the challenge.

Also, not all your item slots can be filled in this version as far as I can tell. And the silent gunslinger does nothing amazing, and you can't get up to him on the ledge. I did find the secret message about how to access easy mode though.

Any ways, sorry for the half spoilers. The only thing that didn't feel right was Injustice damaging during his charging/jumping animations, before the attack. 90% of my deaths were caused by this when trying to kill Zealotous at level 1. A way to reload the game without reloading the page would have been helpful too, but only for when you accidentally kill something you weren't supposed to when trying not to level.

Despite it being a half-done game, it was really fun. Managed to beat the Hard-Mode bosses but I didnt find the secret ones yet..

And this "balls of steel" challenge (No attributes, No skills, Low level) Is damned impossible against that Zealotus bitch... Keeps summoning minions (the coward) and I can't kill those guys or else I'll gain experience and FAIL the challenge!! (namely the 'lvl 4' challenge.)

I can't use my polearm because my char's not strong enough...

Do I even GET anything for doing this damned "Balls of Steel" challenge?!

[other than that, 4 and a half stars... half star taken because of the 'april fools' deal of it being a HALF-game.]
