When I heard that Edd Gould (eddsworld) had passed away, I was just shocked. I really couldn't believe it. He was such a huge inspiration to me, he's the whole reason I started using Flash. Hell, I probably wouldn't even know about this great website if it weren't for him. So this is my way of saying thank you, and while there are probably going to be many others like this, I just felt I had to make my personal contribution.
TL;DR - Thanks for the inspiration Edd.
Also, I am aware of how little animation this contains, but that's not the point. The point is to get my thoughts across as well as possible, so yeah w/e. I don't even know what I'm typing, but you get it.
RIP Edd Gould, 1988-2012.

I had not been on newgrounds for a little while until today, so thank you for doing this tribute to Edd Gould. I would not have known of his passing if not for you, and I would not have come to enjoy flash animations as much as I do if not for Edd Gould. He will be missed, and he will be remembered.

I thank you for making this. I am just a guy who post comments, so I don't make flash. But this is what I wanted to make. I miss Edd. He inspired me, too. Without him, I'd have 2 less friends, who were both really great. I thank you verily and I hope you live a great life. And let us hope that Edd sees this up in Heaven. I want to cry right now. Thank you once again,and thank you too, Edd. :')
