You don't get it, do you? The money they are gathering is not for a game called "Project Nexus 2". They are just creating their own project nexus. Beware Nevada!

Awesome game though, the mechanics, graphics, art, sound, animation, everything is just extraordinary. Especially for an online flash game.

I love this game but the reason I have to give it such a low score is because of its second half, specifically the end. Yes, it was that bad to warrant me taking off two stars. Now, don't get me wrong, I like a challenge, but that last level seemed more like you were just throwing enemies at us. Besides the basic pawns (Whom I saw surprisingly little of) there was an abundance of insta-kill enemies (zombies) stun-lock enemies (The straight jacket guys), and Ammo Eaters (The guys that would regenerate every time you killed the bastards). Oh, not to forget the extra dodgy guys. Right off the bat the level is off, with the dodgers automatically using their critical aim skill. What usually happened was that I would dodge one, get hit by the second (since they did it just off of union) and then one of the two zombies would grab me. If I escaped I would get critically hit again or get grabbed by the other. I usually lost a life here. The next problem room was the one with the big regen guy. While the regenrators aren't that bad It is incredibly annoying having to dump all my ammo into them, then get stun locked by the Straight coat guys. Now, this would not have been so bad if they're wasn't so damn many of them (same goes for zombies); I would usually get stun locked, escape, try to move, and instantly get stun locked or dropped kicked again. I sometimes lost a life here. The furthest I got before deciding the stress wasn't worth it was the second control room. Again, a whole lot of dodgers using critical attacks, zombies trying to insta-kill me, or stun-lockers. If I didn't die here it would be the staircase over where a zombie would usually kill me. I think the big problem lies in the amount of zombies and psychos (the straight jacket guys). Since they can attack or grab you individually I would often have use the escape shake twice (and with the zombies this was an almost definite life lost since you don't have much time). With the psychos I would often loose my weapons because nearly five would try to drop kick me from every...er...both sides. Then I would have to run and dodge until I could pickup a weapon (the animation for this is painfully slow). Just about every enemy can interrupt my AOE attack from the "magic bar" so I'd honestly prefer the bullet time mechanic. At least that way I could run faster than my enemies and get some room to fight back. I even tried switch the level to easy but it was the same. Again, I don't mind a challenge but that last level seems more like you got lazy at the end or something. It seem like it sits out in comparison to all the other, well crafted levels. Te fact that this game has stun lock and insta kill enemies is bad enough but bearable. Making a very large level with a shit ton of them is unfathomable. I like this game because it tells the back story to the Madness world, one that I honestly don't know that well; however, the fact that a poorly made level is the only thing that stops me from seeing the end really pisses me off. It's a mock challenge instead of a proper one and it dosent even keep the integrity of fun. With the second installment coming up I sure hope you remember these words. Cut the bull and leave the good, and the good definitely is not over excessive stun and insta-killers.

Incredible game! a bit laggy but still top notch, good combat system, fun arena, so many weapons, this could of cost real money and it would still be played as much, good work. Can never get past the first encounter with the MK2 GO3LM though T_T
