After getting a new PC, I can finally enjoy the full game! Project Nexus is exactly the type of Madness game everyone wants, a simulator of Madness episodes and worthy of all the praise it has gotten. However, it does have a few weak points aside from the lag that hopefully its 3D sequel is able to improve on.

1) Poor balance. Out of all the weapons, only automatic guns are truly useful, and even among the autos there are a few that stand out. The TAC Bar is great, but it makes high caliber weapons too random to rely on, I could fire my scoped revolver 3 times at the same TAC Bar target and he still doesn't take a hit, whereas with an auto I can drain his TAC Bar at a consistent rate and score a kill. Plus since all dropped weapons have no reserve mags(unless Easy mode) and autos have the best ammo efficiency per mag... yeah.
Meanwhile, Sanford's hook is cool, but honestly having the ability to hold two different guns is better than having a permanent melee weapon which you can't use to deflect shots and difficult to land a good throw with.

2) Scavenging is difficult. As you get kills, weapons and bodies pile up on the floor. Now, I love the idea of scavenging random weapons off the floor and won't normally be an issue, but when the weapons are all so wildly unbalanced and when bodies just pile up endlessly like in Arena, I am forced to go after only the good stuff. I want to go for that one rifle, but end up picking up the pile of pistols around it. Even worse is that when I'm halfway through picking up a weapon, I get shot and my character reacts by evading, cancelling the pickup action. The end result in story mode is that I always stockpile the good cabinet autos in one corner of the room, clear the next room, go back to the stockpile and bring it to next room, repeat until I know its a dangerous room where I need to bring out the big guns. Meanwhile, in Arena, SAW is still the best gun to use despite its nerf. All because relying on scavenging a good gun is simply not reliable.

I would also point out the rather clunky melee combat(oh god, the zombies and golems), but the above two are the most glaring issues that really limit the feel of a Madness movie simulator. It is still a fun game and it delivered, but hey, could be better, and I hope the sequel will fix these issues. Thank you for making Madness movies and this game all this while!

the game is very good, I've liked the other games that surprise him and me, but I'm having a problem I do not know if it's just me, but when I leave the progrsso the game is not saved and have to start from scratch if you can do something thanks: D
