When Valentine's Day came around, I wanted to make my wife something special. However, I'm not good with crafts or words; so I made her a game. It's simple, but she loved it.

Good and shiny game, but may be you should allow player to flip on floor and cellar only?
( "if (FlxG.keys.SPACE && ( player.isTouching( FlxObject.FLOOR || player.isTouching( FlxObject.CELLAR){ <...> } " )?
But good idea.
PS Great start.
I was having trouble with getting the game to recognize the screen bounds as FLOOR & CEILING. My original vision was pretty much exactly what you described. Since I couldn't get it to work, I went with the next best thing.
