--edit-- tweaked some balance issues, upped the framerate.
CRU is a side scrolling shooter/exploration game. This is a SHORT ASS DEMO, which means I can only show a bit of the exploration, the bulk of the demo is the shoot-em-up section.
Controls: (once you get to the shooting part!)
_----==** Z: shoot X: shield C: charge beam **==----_
The beam gauge charges when you kill an enemy; If you slaughter them like the beast you are, you'll charge it up, dude.

Very nice game. The art was just amazing and was a joy to look at while playing. The serene music was also enjoyable. My only issue with the game is so minor I didn't even take it into account on the score. The charge beam (or whatever it's called) took a long time to charge up and was only good for like one split second blast, awesome but kinda a waste. A longer fire time, or maybe summoning temporary drones that add to fire power or something would be a lot better. Overall awesome game and can't wait for the final version.
Good review. I like your idea about the drones, and you're right, the beam is a bit lackluster. Taken into account! Cheers.

dude, that is just fuckin epic!I Wish i could draw like that =p
anyway....well, to cut it short, everything about the demo was great.

first i thought: lets play this shit before going to sleep, but i played and its great...
i like the fact that it's drawn on college-block and u sometime see the red line(what's on the side of the sheet) music also nice, but like bandana says could use a change
