We hope to have fixed issue whereby occasionally green and yellow power-ups sometimes took you to a dead end.
Grow your neuron as long as possible by using your mouse to click on protein targets within your circle of influence.
You can only click on protein targets within your circle of influence but you need to be quick as it decreases over time.
Connect with special pink, green, yellow and blue protein targets for a range of power ups to help you overcome rival neurons that compete with you for the available protein targets.
'Axon' uses real features of neuron development in the foetal brain. You can find out more by clicking on The Science link from the main menu of the game.

Awesome game! As a biochemistry major, I appreciate the theme.
One question though: Do you have a list of all the neuron "ranks", preferably with their corresponding minimum scores?

Great game! Ingenious idea and very addictive. Really smooth glide between the proteins. Also the level of detail into the science of the game proves that a little bit of research into a game really proves for a rich experience. This game is a fucking brain wave.

There's a lot to be said in this game. It was a fun, learning experience that I am sure will change my outlook on the functionality of the brain. What's interesting is how this is conceived into a game. (albeit, an addictive and learning one) Especially how the game can be challenging and creative. Repetitive at first, but it can suck you in to forget about it and play again.
Five stars.
