30th March Update:
We hope to have fixed issue whereby occasionally green and yellow power-ups sometimes took you to a dead end.

Grow your neuron as long as possible by using your mouse to click on protein targets within your circle of influence.

You can only click on protein targets within your circle of influence but you need to be quick as it decreases over time.

Connect with special pink, green, yellow and blue protein targets for a range of power ups to help you overcome rival neurons that compete with you for the available protein targets.

'Axon' uses real features of neuron development in the foetal brain. You can find out more by clicking on The Science link from the main menu of the game.

I love the game play as its fast paced and addictive the art style is also really nice and simple. I also love the soundtrack to the game, again simple but really good. the game also has really cool educational aspects.

This is a great game, why so? you may ask, well, it has lasting appeal. After you first play it you will become addicted to it! Especially the dynamics and the challenge that comes with it. And, hah, good luck beating the high scores, as those can be your main goal.

Amazing game, but, BUT, it could use a little work as well, like, VERY LITTLE work. Maybe just to finish up the power-up system, and tune the difficulty of the rival axons. Maybe have a certain difficulty setting.

That's all I have to say, but this was really a great game. I'd recommend this to anyone who loves fast-paced games, as this truly is one of the best I've ever played.

I simply could not stop playing this game. Axon is is the most fast-paced and challenging game of "connect the dots" you'll ever play, and you won't stop playing until you either get on the scoreboard or get frustrated by the inflamed neurons, but even after five minutes, you'll just come right back to try again.
