30th March Update:
We hope to have fixed issue whereby occasionally green and yellow power-ups sometimes took you to a dead end.

Grow your neuron as long as possible by using your mouse to click on protein targets within your circle of influence.

You can only click on protein targets within your circle of influence but you need to be quick as it decreases over time.

Connect with special pink, green, yellow and blue protein targets for a range of power ups to help you overcome rival neurons that compete with you for the available protein targets.

'Axon' uses real features of neuron development in the foetal brain. You can find out more by clicking on The Science link from the main menu of the game.

I had way to much fun with this. It's addicting and every time I click the link it gives me I get a little more knowledge on our nerves. I love how it portrays the way we make neuro impulses and how quick they have to me. Nice game!

This educational and strategic game was very well thought out in the aspects of sub-neural pre-conceptual configurations. There should be more games like this in the future and I have no complaints, my only advise for you is to make more games like this! :) Great idea. 5/5

Man, this is crazy addicting, especially with the high score board. Smooth, simple yet elegant graphics with a nice BGM.

A quick tip - Be especially careful when coming out of the "tunnel" like sections. Red neurons like to spawn right at the exit and cut you off completely. This is a noticable obstacle around the 80000 - 100000 length, where the proteins are very spread out.
