Welcome to the first Conroy Cat cartoon since September. I'm hoping that I can put out a new short on a monthly basis for the next six to twelve months!
This cartoon is based on strip I did back when Conroy was a webcomic, and whereas that particular comic allowed me to experiment with Photoshop coloring, I used this animation to play around with movie clips, After Effects and live action footage, to varying degrees of success.

First off I have to say I love your characters and the voices you gave them, as for this cartoon I have to say it was creative and it was just well done, though it seemed like it could have smoother movements and such. That aside is not that big of a deal and doesn't lessen the fact it was creative, funny, and just brought me back to those old nostalgic cartoons when I say that I mean like Tex Avery cartoons and such. In all I have to say I am a fan of your stuff and please do me and many more people a favor, keep the creativity going.

Your animation skills are improving. As for the art, there are less jagged edges, but it's not quite perfect yet. I did find the camera movements to be somewhat redeeming.

The talking animations are your achilles heel.

I guess the flaw is two fold. One, the words don't always match the mouth movements. Two, I'm just not a fan of Conroy's voice. The old man voice for the dog, you got that one down. Conroy just seems to have too much human perfection resonating through his voice.

The joke, I feel, was lessened by Conroy's unanimated voice, so I didn't find it funny. I love the idea of it, just not how it was executed. Also, I didn't find it to be as good as your previous Conroy animations.

Artwork: 3.5/5
Animation: 2.5/5
Voices: 1/5
Joke: 3/5

Overall, 2.5/5

After watching this cartoon I adopted a parakeet, slammed its little bird head into a wall and filed for divorce. You are a horrible person.
