Traitor puts you into the shoes of a soldier of the Augustan Hegemony, forced to rise up against your former masters after you're ordered to do something you simply cannot accept. Explore the Aventinus Complex, complete missions, upgrade your ship and gather allies until you can overthrow the tyrants who have brought such misery to the people.
[Note: If you're playing in Firefox and experience odd control problems, try switching to Chrome or Opera.]
[Current version: 1.7]
TIPS:
1. The game opens up after the 4th mission, when you reach the map.
2. Upgrades are available in shops on the map screen.
3. The menu allows you to see your stats, achievements and allies.
4. If a mission is too difficult, try playing a different one and upgrading your ship.
5. In some situations, survival is more important than destroying all enemy ships.
MEDALS:
If your medals aren't unlocking, this is probably because the NG server is having some hiccups. Try reloading the page and see if the preloader ad is being displayed. Then go to the in-game Achievements screen; the game will try to unlock any medals you should already have.

loved it! story was incredible! A little monotonous but overall the feeling of progressing was awesome. One thing. Last level, major cheat, you can fly above the little ship that looks like you, and then just hang out there until your health recharges. You should keep an eye out for things like that next game? (plz make another!)

Good game!, although the game was a bit slow, the difficulty curve I found it well designed.

Great game. I loved the adventure and upgrading system. It takes a little bit to start getting some money. The shields are definitely the most useful upgrade to start out.

-whas the point in alies??? they dont do anything just ooh look what this can do not
-and starting with a two shot is so horrible ehen some enemies are small enough to go between
-by the time you fully upgraded u still van even destroy sum stuff like thos random spammes that
block half the road i know you can smash through with less damage due to damage dun but still
-and whats with the lame upgrades if you upgrade everything u still end up the same and no optional which is what upgrading suposed to be or it might aswell be automatic
-its pathetic the amount of diference between misions with rocks coming at you the same shape and angle and colour for an pixel game
-apart from that atleast it a had a good story
