Traitor puts you into the shoes of a soldier of the Augustan Hegemony, forced to rise up against your former masters after you're ordered to do something you simply cannot accept. Explore the Aventinus Complex, complete missions, upgrade your ship and gather allies until you can overthrow the tyrants who have brought such misery to the people.
[Note: If you're playing in Firefox and experience odd control problems, try switching to Chrome or Opera.]
[Current version: 1.7]
TIPS:
1. The game opens up after the 4th mission, when you reach the map.
2. Upgrades are available in shops on the map screen.
3. The menu allows you to see your stats, achievements and allies.
4. If a mission is too difficult, try playing a different one and upgrading your ship.
5. In some situations, survival is more important than destroying all enemy ships.
MEDALS:
If your medals aren't unlocking, this is probably because the NG server is having some hiccups. Try reloading the page and see if the preloader ad is being displayed. Then go to the in-game Achievements screen; the game will try to unlock any medals you should already have.

I couldn't stop once I got started.
First off, the score was easily my most favorite thing about Traitor! Though, a part of me wishes that there were at least a couple more to in the game to listen to, but man were they full of tension and guitar rifts~
The art design for the game was incredible! I really do love the amount of detail that was put into each art asset with such simple lines, especially the craters.
At first, the game was starting to feel a little too easy near the end but it was worth going through all of the galaxies to improve your ship and tag yourself with alliances. They weren't too much of a help, but it was worth getting them (allies 3 and 4 were the most help). I have to say, I felt pretty let down by the end bosses, they felt like normal enemies near the half mark.
I would really like to see more games from this person!

Great game. Perfect length.
I love the fact each mission has it's own text. You could have easily made it repetitive, it's a small a touch, but it makes a difference and makes it a pleasure to continue you, you don't feel like it's a meaningless grind.
The story is simple, but that's perfect, it doesn't need to be anything more than it is.
My one complaint is that some bosses seem too easy. Easier than some of the ships I face in the level itself. It's probably because they're so big I always hit them, but they go down in 4-5 hits. (see: the third last boss). Apart from the final one (loved it) they're also quite similar, and so lack challenge. It's a minor thing, otherwise it's very hard to find a fault in this game. Great work!

It's a really fun game and i really enjoyed playing it. High quality and great fun. Fast paced action and i felt like a juggernaut after buying all the upgrades, yet not so much so that i could be careless on later missions. However, I'd have liked to see a more varied array of weapons and ships, but I enjoyed this well enough as it is.
