So this Kony thing has been a big deal lately and has taken the web by storm.
While I was in the process of animating this, one of the co-founders of InvisibleChildren ( the company that produced the Kony 2012 video ) had a mental breakdown.
Update: Thanks for the front page! Stay cool.
The only reason I don't feel bad about sharing the KONY2012 video is because I did it when it was on <300,000 views so I wasn't trying to be "mainstream". BTW nice animation skills but would rather it to be a little longer.
Glad you liked it!
who is Kony's favorite rapper?
This is a troll video. I will also take the following into consideration: Animation doesn't matter in this brand of videos. To spend the time on animating a hasty joke would take days. Days that you cannot afford to sacrifice.
While I am ommitting the bad animation score, i ask that you don't use patterned shirts. I know it was a concious choice, but it always looks like crap on a screen of any sort. You would receive a 1/5 on your art and 2/5 on your animation otherwise.
Sound was clear, crisp. I didn't like some of your choices (like the blinking), it was too cartoonish and took away from the message.
The voice acting for Kony was horrible. It was a deep voice. That's it. No accent, just a deep voice. I can't get over that.
As mentioned before, the message you put out is hilarious. That's why i'm not giving you a script score, but a troll score instead. This is the reason I don't use facebook. People who do are to be treated as a collective mind. You have no idea how many teeny boppers want to kill Kony - not as a result of Invisible Children, but as a result of facebook and the collective opinion.
Troll Value 5/5
