This is an animation to be used as part of my coursework for college. This is the first animation I've ever done and the class has been asked to upload their animations to newgrounds to see what comments people would make.
I'm sorry, but the lack of plot and the sloppy animation does not seem Newgrounds worthy. As much as I love Terry Pratchett, I think this should stay in the class.
Believe me, I agree. We were pretty much forced to upload these today at my college.
edit- By the way, if we're forced to upload the finished versions of these too (which I'm pretty sure we will) then It'll probably make more sense then. The plot for the game I'm gona be doing for the college projects with this is basically The Death of Rats hunting down hourglasses which have been stolen by other rats. The next scene from this one is going the be The Death of Rats chasing a rat with an hourglass hung from its neck through the streets of ankh moarpork before cornering it in an alleyway.
It wasn't bad... But I don't see any rats dying. Title dissonance much? Anyway, animation was a bit sloppy, but I've seen far, FAR worse. Sounds (Music? Voices?) were alright, doing their purpose. I would suggest a preloader though, but it wasn't much of an issue for this due to the short length. If you plan on making longer flash animations, preloaders are a must. All in all, not bad for a first flash.
The rat sekeleton/grim reaper is a minor character from Terry Prattchets "Discworld" series named "The Death of Rats" or "The Grim Squeaker".
this...is for college?
