Wow. My expectations were very low when I saw only a 'start' and 'continue' button on the menu screen. No controls, help screen, what the hell? So I clicked start. It quickly became clear that rules weren't necessary, the controls are in the comments, and everything you needed to do was obvious.
The game was really fun to play. It did get increasingly complicated, but not to the point where you wanted to pull your hair out. The graphics were minimal, but the controls were responsive and it was challenging enough to keep you focused. The only things I would add would be more powerups and more medals (like 'died XX times' or medals for each powerup, door passed through, etc). Made me want to check out your other submissions. Good job!
Great game. I feel like the music doesn't quite match though, but thats just my opinion (seems like it would have been better with something of a more retro style). The difficulty was pleasant, and this game is certainly not too easy. I like how you used the concept of gravity here, and its not just mere switching of direction. The controls were well made as well. I feel like the game could have used a map though, since the area is impressively huge. I think this may even make the front page. Hope it does.
Thanks for the feedback. Also, the game does have a map, but you'll have to backtrack a little bit to find it.
sorry but the sticky controls ruin the game for me.
You need a way, if you exit the game prematurely, to restore from the previous screen on the other side of the lasers. Aside from that, great game.
Controls were hard to get used to with them switching constantly, but overall an enjoyable and well animated platformer!
Physics platformer with time-portals. One place - two times and different level geometry.
