dys4ia is an autobiographical game about the period in my life when i started hormone replacement therapy. it's a story about me, and is certainly not meant to represent the experience of every trans person.

Thank you for helping me to understand part of the hormone replacement process and how it can make people feel. The different games were great as they sort of reflected the challenges that you went through, and the leveling up aspect was a welcome surprise.

Take care, thanks for the game and I wish you every happiness :)

Fascinating, powerful, and a great way to tell your story. Not heavy handed in any way, which I was worried about before hitting play. You used the medium extremely well to tell a simple and effective, personal story. Love the retro graphics and human-made sounds, as they showed how using simple materials can get a point across. Nice work, and good luck in your future as you continue down this path you've chosen!

Some parts made me giggle, some parts made MY blood pressure go up... I love this game not only for its ability to make people understand, but for the fact it's very genuine. Keep up the good work!

Such a great, strange, unique journey you take us through. I loved everything, the music, the sounds, the story, the interactive mini-game things and the art style. Simply beautiful and beautifully simple.

Awesome, just awesome! Can only imagine the courage it took deciding to take such a big leap in your life and to top it off letting total strangers into your experiences, which i guess are still quite hurtful. But glad things are looking up!
Back to the game, nice to see games being used as a form of self expression and having the actual game play mirror your life experiences. Solid game, great message!
