I have had this added on my favorites for quite some time. I have a few friends that are afraid to go through this, although they admit it's what they want. They're just putting up with everything, but... I keep this, to show them that yes, it is hard... but it's possible, and it does help.

Thoughtful, provoking, sincere. But I wish more people didn't see this as a problem on par with war in the Middle East or starving children or cultures where you can't even show your face. I feel bad for people who truly feel sad and uncomfortable with their gender but that's a mental illness. People can talk 24/7 to you about how it's NOT an illness and you ARE brave but, no, you have a problem greater than "I wish I didn't have this penis." And that problem is in your head. Shame on the social activist junkies who applaud people for thinking it's not. "You should call me MA'AM!" "And you shouldn't be all mad that I initially addressed you as a guy because you are one."
