dys4ia is an autobiographical game about the period in my life when i started hormone replacement therapy. it's a story about me, and is certainly not meant to represent the experience of every trans person.

This game was simple but told your story in a fantastic way. it really made me think about my life and other people's lives.

I'm seeing a lot of people here complaining about the quality of sound, graphics, gameplay, etc...and they're really bad. I don't know if it was intentional, but I also see it as a way to express how HER tragetory hasn't been funny, neither totally enjoyable until now. If some of you people got annoyed with only a few minutes of this "game", just imagine HER great effort, with weeks/months/years in it, and still "playing". Keep it up!
I really liked it. HER main objetive here wasn't to make a game, but to share, and even unburden, HER battle, and I find it's accomplished.
"Think over" games like this really pleases me. There should be a category here for this kind of game, like depict1, K.O.L.M. and The company of myself.

The game expresses your feelings well, though the graphics and sounds were poorly made, and, though it qualifies as a game, I guess, it isn't very good. I understand, the point wasn't to entertain people or to make a fun game, it was to get your message and story out. But you don't have to take hormones or try to change your gender to make yourself feel better. God loves you and if he created you as a man, you don't need to take hormones or try to change yourself to be a woman or otherwise in order to feel satisfaction and fulfillment. The same if he created you as a woman. But just as he is the God of mercy, love, kindness, creativity, humor (yes he can tell jokes I'm sure), God is also a God of Free Will, which is why we are allowed to obey him or disobey him, to choose whether to wear red green or purple, or what kind of life we lead. God bless you.

rock on \m/ I'm genderqueer myself and generally feeling more masculine all the time oops totally confused about my gender lol and I'd say this is a good art game, nice interactive story. shows experiences well, but I do have to say I don't like the flashing on the menus screen and such, could be bad for epilptics too/ Great ways of illustrating etc.

although i must agree it was a basic and unfortunatly kinda boring game, i think the story was beautiful and ur tougher than u think. for all you out there that think its ok to be abusive to someone who isnt confortable with the gender that they were born with and the position that society has put them in, then i feel sorry for you, you are weak and cowardly. i wish you all the best anna.
