dys4ia is an autobiographical game about the period in my life when i started hormone replacement therapy. it's a story about me, and is certainly not meant to represent the experience of every trans person.

To me, this is one of the great examples of an "art" game. Full disclosure, I am a Straight-ish White Male so I fall into the least discriminated category of the human race. Playing this game is like stepping into another persons shoes, it makes you open you mind a little bit and see things from a different perspective. I feel like I just got a small part of the experience of a transgendered person, a valuable experience in teaching people that don't understand and to comfort and provide affirmation for those undergoing the process of HRT. Its a very personal story told in an original fashion and I am glad to have had the opportunity to listen to it.

Wow.

I really love the graphics for this game.

I also just love the way you took an actual part of your life and turned it into a game. You have a very cool, creative way of expressing your thoughts.

I love it, it made me fucking cry. I'm so sorry for the harsh words of other feminists, they don't know what they're fucking talking about. This is a beautiful goddamn game, and you are a beautiful goddamn person for sharing so much. I want to fucking hug you, friend. I'm really happy for you.

This game is poignant, thoughtful, and enriching; there were moments that made me tear up, and there were moments that made me smile. This is more than an exceptional game; this is an exceptional piece of art.
