dys4ia is an autobiographical game about the period in my life when i started hormone replacement therapy. it's a story about me, and is certainly not meant to represent the experience of every trans person.

This actually happened to you? You are the first person I have ever heard of in my entire life who did this. I guess it's interesting to play a game about someone who has had such a unique experience. It's not that good in itself, but it's still nice to play for the experience. It's hard to say whether it's good or bad, because it doesn't really matter. What matters is that you got through this situation.

I guess my medals are not showing up for some reason. You could have made it go back to the menu at the end of the game. The noise gets a tad annoying. It seems like you were very bold in going through all of this. I hope you continue to live a long and prosperous life.

Well i expect the things going good for you, but rememeber your blood presion okay???. I like this game, because is a interesting way to put the changes of the author, and have a good way too understand people with your predicament(because i dont have a better word for your situation), and to lead people more too understand and less to judge people.

PD: sorry for my crappy english.

I truly enjoyed this game. Short, to the point. The gameplay was constantly changeing, and yet there was a story.

It wasn't the most flashy, Or a novel. Just a simple, short, enjoyable interesting game. And for that I give 5 stars :)

This is fantastic: so simple, but so very effective. I don't really see any point in getting upset by questions of terminology; it uses the interactive medium to convey something thoughtful and beautiful and intensely personal, and that is an excellent thing to do.

I'm very disappointed with the other reviewers that are rating this based on their view of what a game is, when it's just the way Newgrounds categorizes content. They won't have a section called "interactive movies" or "experiences" because it would become confusing and difficult to categorize. I wish people would review and rate games if it was successful in doing what the creator set out to do, not what they feel it should or shouldn't be. That said, I really thought the way you conveyed your experiences through fragmented mini-games was a fantastic way to have the game itself tell the story and it allows the player to really connect with it, especially because it isn't something everybody goes through. The use of symbols (like the shield) really helps break down that barrier even more so. It was wonderfully abstract and understandable at the same time. Although the art style was rather cliched, the way you used colors really worked well. You told your story and you did it in a very unique and interesting way. Just, good job.
