dys4ia is an autobiographical game about the period in my life when i started hormone replacement therapy. it's a story about me, and is certainly not meant to represent the experience of every trans person.

I thought this was fantastic. I've gotten more understanding from this game than all of the stories I've ever heard from trans folks. It used simple, accessible metaphors and was direct yet suggestive. I honestly feel as if I have a greater understanding of the troubles that face people with these issues. Well done.

That was absolutely brilliant.

Your movie deals with a very strange concept to most people, as it's not a common thing to consider how comfortable you are in your body (except perhaps during puberty, when everybody feels the same anyway, and you know you'll eventually grow out of it).

This movie though made the concept easy to grasp, using familiar game mechanics to represent emotions, and very human language - like when it says "tits" instead of boobs or breasts or whatever. It's unusual to read that word and really reminded me that I was interacting with a persons story, rather than just playing another arty flash game.

The bit about starting to feel as beautiful as your girlfriend sees you, that really touched me. It's great to know that you're feeling happier now.

was well inspirational. i hope one day the world will not be so closed-minded and every person of every kind can feel like they belong here.

In the meantime, best wishes for your future : ) and I hope to see some more inspirational-ish games (or just, well, whatever. Non-inspirational but fun is fine too, i guess :')
