Takes too long to get any upgrades. It's annoying that if you accidentally shoot a gem it gets destroyed.

-Gameplay-
Complexity: Point, click, moving around is optional
Controls: Easy to handle
Confirmation of hitting the enemy: Non existent
Graphics: You're given very little indication of what means what until it shoots you
Uniqueness: 1%

-Story-
Concept: Intriguing
Cutscene: Well drawn, attention grabbing
Relevance: The gameplay has almost no connection to the story.
Nowhere in the plot does it mention things are going to start shooting at you.

Asteroids is one of the oldest games around. Just because you have some little things shooting at you and some fancy graphics doesn't make it original.

wow this game is AWESOME. this even might make it onto the front page or something like that! and the intro was really good looking and the graphics are amazing too. another thing is that it is like you are actually collecting resources because there are four types of resources like you are actually repairing a ship.

A lot of fun! The graphics are really pretty, I especially liked the intro cutscene, and the in-game music is pretty damn funky.

I have a few gripes though:
--My shots keep phasing through enemies! Really annoying when you have to be careful about not shooting the resources you need to upgrade.
--The upgrades are also really expensive and don't seem to do much, I finished story mode and only managed to get 4 of them. and it felt like the ship was just as strong as when I'd started.
--The early enemies were sort of hard to distinguish from asteroids, until they shot at you.
--The "Gradually progressing complexity" seems to be a bit shot, from start of story mode to end I was facing exactly the same amount of the same kinds of asteroids, and it wasn't until the really late levels that suddenly some more, different bad guys showed up.
--And at the end of story mode (and dying in survival mode), is the game meant to just sit on the same screen, with no way to go back the menu (or restart)?

Overall I really liked the game, it was entertaining and challenging enough to keep me playing through story mode despite the things I mentioned above. I think if you do an update in the future and can address this stuff, this game will be perfect!
