Read the love letter without getting caught! Can you find your true love before 2nd period?

Move with the mouse. Click and hold to read the letter. Don't get caught!

(you can also use the arrow keys and space bar or WASD and enter instead)

The Love Letter was originally our entry for the Ludum Dare 22 game jam in December. People seemed to like it, so we polished up the game for Valentine's Day and kept going from there.

Now it's on Newgrounds! Hope you like it. :)

:o Newgrounds front page! Wow, thank you! :D

Here, we added ten NG medals for you to unlock. Enjoy!

=.=" That dude is noob at reading XD

Anyways kinda fun, but more difficult then it is entertaining.
But everything else was done superbly, so 4 stars from me.

Nice game. Very cute.
However, I earned both "Ladies Man" and "Procrastinator" medals, but "Ladies Man" was the only one that registered.

Simple, but original idea, game is not so hard, but romantic and nice.
Music is also simple, but not annoying, "Letter music" making an atmosphere while you're reading and being interrupted.

Rated 4 / 5 stars

The art is pixelated but adorable because of this very reason, with the sprites all looking very tiny. Even though there was only one background music throughout the game (I think there's another one in the Menu?), it was still okay - unless you've been trying at the game for multiple times, then by the 3rd try or so, you may be fed up with it.

The only thing that I didn't really like about the game is the controls when I use the mouse; it's clumsy for me since he walks right towards the cursor rather than the shortest route to it - resulting in his walking into a wall, or right into a horde of paparazzi he may be calling them friends in-game universe. Thankfully there's an option to use the keyboard, though that would require both hands (either WASD and Enter, or UpDownLeftRight and Spacebar).

Cuteness Overload for the storyline. [SPOILER] How much sweeter can it be to know your Secret Admirer is your long-time crush (I'm assuming)? [END OF SPOILER]

It would be nice if there was an option to disable auto-pause in order to [SPOILER?] achieve the Heartless Medal [END OF SPOILER?]

Art: 4 stars
Sound: 3.5 stars (limited soundtracks with a just adequate amount of SFX)
Controls: 3.5 stars
Gameplay: 4 stars
Plot: 4 stars
Overall: 4 stars (3.8 stars)
