Its like a shark took 50 miles of acid and smoked 415 tons of crack.
It's mindless but strangely fun.

Secret Medal 1: Break the Statue of Liberty at the beginning of the game.
Secret Medal 2: Finish the game with the New York hat on.

This is not a good game for several reasons.
1 Gameplay: Points flying everywhere making it impossible to see what targets to prioritize and explosions blocking visibility makes me think this is not about challenging jumps to score kill streaks or hitting hard targets. This is just about randomly smashing your keyboard. The few grab and pull down events doesn't make things better either since after you grab it (which is terribly easy btw) those involve even more rapid key bashing but now with even less keys (a single key).
Go to world mouse clicking competition (search on google) if you find this kind of "game" fun. That "game" is streamlined for this purpose and you don't have the random luck factor you get with this game, so you can compete with friends more fairly.
2 Visuals and mechanics: Simple graphics and primitive game mechanics doesn't make this game more fun. Sometimes simple gameplay can be forgiven if the game is artistic in nature or if you can play around with cool or innovative game mechanics. This game has neither.
3 Story: No progression and no purpose/story, just random pointless devastation makes replay value = 0. Sometimes even the most repetitive task can be accepted if it is a means to an end that is worth it. This game isn't even trying to give you a purpose.
Apparently lots of people find this fun. I don't understand that. I'm sitting here thinking about simple games that is lacking in all these 3 main parts at the same time and can't think of a single one. Sure, there are some 10kb joke games posted here from time to time that isn't really games, but those usually gets blammed or just barely survives. They are never on the top list.
One star is for the music, for the mildly amusing 2012 reference at the end and for not being a 10kb joke game.
