Episode 2 of my series tells you everything you need to know about your own spirituality. Happy enlightenmenting, everyone!
Update: Thanks for the front page honor, Newgrounds!
Kinda... irritated. Sound and effects (SFX) were a bit sharp and could use some "smoothing" or leveling out... Another word could be "balanced." and um... this was a bit of an ignorant submission. A lot of it was based off of opinion aaand I don't find this funny. Obviously.... The animation itself was cute, hence the one star, but the voice acting, sound, and plot is not really something I appreciate.
Just a simple partin your idea of God... is kinda skewed. I wouldn't go by word of mouth but by actually finding stuff out for yourself rather than taking everything everyone else says about him. Mhm.
I think you're missing the point a bit, here. The character doesn't reflect my beliefs, and I think that's kind of clear to most people watching this. I'm not saying you're dumb - you could still find the humor totally stupid, and that's fine. However, I don't think you noticed that the character is outright superficial and kind of ethically-challenged. If you're being literal with this cartoon, it would mean I advocate drive-by shootings and robbing banks as shown, and as a sane human being, that just isn't the case.
Be that as it may, if you don't approve of someone's idea of religion (even though that's not what is presented here), I would call into question the decision to dismiss the quality of the film on those grounds. For instance, I may not agree with a film's politics, but I could see it as an objectively well-made creation. "Star Wars" took inspiration from "Triumph of The Will" in its execution of one scene, but I don't think Lucas is pro-Nazi. Food for thought. Thanks for watching.
There's some self-aware humor here that I can really get behind. Stylish and witty, with good satirical undertones.
Thanks for the kind words. There's a lot of "self-aware" humor on Newgrounds, but it generally is in the form of a video game or franchise parody, which I usually keep away from making. Not because there's anything wrong with any of that (I enjoy it as much as the next guy), but because there are already so many people doing it, and doing it well, that I'm fairly certain I wouldn't bring anything to the table. I'm glad people are enjoying this kind of thing, so I'll continue making it.
That darker bird sounds like the merchant from RE 4.
I don't know why I didn't make this connection, but you're onto something.
An indirect Sequel to "The Artist" shows the life of the salaryman
Cornelius & Toots are back, and a Haunted House Ride seems a little spookier than usual!
