1. You can modify controls after dying to Lilly once.
2. You can press down+jump to slide
3. You can replay the game to find something more challenging

Katawa Shoujo is a bittersweet romance visual novel where the reader roleplays as Hisao Necktie: a highschooler who has become afflicted with a heart condition that forces him to enroll at Yamaku, a school designed for physically disabled students. Hisao eventually copes with his new condition and regains a new outlook in life with the help of one of the five possible romantic interest; all crippled in some way or form.

Katawa Shoujo: Symphony of the Feminists is something completely different.

Did I mention you guys gave awesome reviews? The praises were great but the criticisms were even better, it lets me know exactly what players liked and hated. All other reviews I've read elsewhere are one line spams that are shit, but this? this is pure gold. Thanks for putting time into this.

People who say it's sloppy obviously haven't played Castlevania, it's meant to be like this, a bit sluggish but works, meaning careless movements lead to premature death.

Honestly, I was surprised to see Craft's entire moveset from MMZ4. But I beat that too. Not sure what else to say, it's controls and gameplay was up to standard, although there was a slight glitch where when you got beaten by Akira, and say, her grenades or missiles were still in the air the moment you died, when you transitioned back to the respawn point, they'd still be there, and can deal damage. This is a slight glitch, since you can just recover it from the health in the room, but regardless it was obviously not intended.

Still, did not expect an MMZ boss. If people even HOPE to beat Akira, they will have to make use of the slide to avoid her laser cannon.

It doesn't matter that you can switch up the controls...they are still super sloppy. If you're going try and recreate SotN at least make sure it controls well.

third boss is a tad bit overpowered, still a fun little game though

Having actually played Katawa Shoujo already (been waiting 4 years already haha) I have to say this game is pretty awesome. I have actually played Castlevania SoTN, and I have to say, this isn't an half bad replica of it, you made it seem just as cool as that game was so that worked.

The storyline (whatever the hell that means in terms of this flash) is pretty accurate "what if Katawa Shoujo was played in the view point of Kenji" scenario, which is nice.

Difficulty-wise, ehhh the game was fine, first b oss was a pretty close dracula replica, but much slower and controls were tighter then in the original game so it was easy to beat,
The second boss was a little bit harder, but in comparison to the original game, ehhh about the same overall, so it's pretty beatabe as long as you memorize her (4 attacks I think you put?).
Best Tip I can give is abuse that weapon you get in the 2 Lamp, the boomerang one, and never get the holy water (I mean booze).

Amazing work, keep it up and ignore the idiots who haven't played the game to not realize how much hilarity this flash game contains.
