Ever since the beginning of the school year, I've used the characters of my series, "Adrellia Village" for many school projects. Some of them are around here as solo submissions while others have never been submitted to Newgrounds.

As a result, I decided that I should put them together in a collection. "Almandines n' Stuff" is already here, but it's also packed with never-before-seen animations such as "China in the Middle Ages" and "Veteran's Day." I feel it's necessary to provide some backstory.

"China in the Middle Ages" was supposed to be an extra-credit history animation, but time ran out so I only got the first minute done. Still, I'm proud with its execution and am sharing it with you here.

"Almandines n' Stuff" was an assignment we had for advertising gems.

"Veteran's Day" was a very last-minute project. I was given permission to do an animation rather than a plain old poster and only had two hours of time to complete it, so some of the animation is rather unpolished.

Well, the characters seem a bit uninspired, you could have done atleast something to set them apart from the Cyanide & Happiness characters. The last animation would have been better left out since it greatly reduces the overall impression you get when you watch the movie. All in all should have waited a few days to get this out and polished the living shit out of it.

It must be a slow day in the portal today with this getting Daily Third. No offense but if you had polished this thing better and had some original characters I would have thoght you deserved it.

Interesting. Lots of people say that my characters bear great resemblance to Cyanide & Happiness, but it'd be weird to change them significantly since I've already produced 40+ episodes with them. I'm not sure what to change other than possibly add shading, shadowing or at least some sort of distinguishing quality.

It's ok. I notice that guy looked like one of those cyanide and happiness characters. I wonder if you were inspired by them. Anyways, I'm giving it a 2.5. Not complete, not very interesting and sloppy, but not terrible or eye gouging.
