It's a good game and all, but holy shit are you really going to charge people to buy it? Even though this was originally made by Nintendo? Dick move.

This game is expertly done, the sprite animations are fluid, and the game is very intuitive. However, I have to give this zero stars.
If you submitted this in its own right, it would have been ok. But you are not. You are attempting to sell a remake of a classic game. I advise you soundly to reconsider, unless you are nintendo. Nintendo most likely still owns the copywrite for its old game duck-hunt, and making profit off of a copy-writed game is illegal. Free use rights can only protect you so far. If you submit this as a free game or change the sprites (ie remove the original sprites created by nintendo and sounds, and remove 'duck hunt' from the title), then it would not be illegal. This demo is not illegal since you are not making any profit off of it and therefore it is protected under copywrite laws. Remember, parodies that basically completely rip off of a game have to be free to be protected under the DMCA. If you charge anything over cost, and the media you are using utilizes no cost, you are violating copy-write laws under the DMCA.
I am only telling you this to protect you, although I doubt you will actually see this. The actual mechanics associated with the game are outstanding. It is just the technicality and the fact that you are selling this that make it zero stars. If you want to submit the full version to NG, that would be outstanding, though. I would enjoy playing the full version.
