Ace Pilot, a mercenary for the galactic order S.U.C., needs to stop the rising power of the Krill empire from taking over the galaxy one planet at a time.

You play as Ace, the S.U.C.'s secret weapon. Follow the adventure in Story Mode. Create limitless battle scenarios in Action mode!

Hell, even watch the cut scenes while auto-skipping gameplay after you've beat it, if that's what gets your kicks!
Story mode is incredibly cutscene heavy! If you're let down by that, you can always have instant fun in Action Mode.

Game updated 7-20-2012: We figure that if you're here you're here to play the game, so we decided to make a few modifications. We took out medals, and everything to do with the API (if you want more info on that reasoning, message EldritchAbomination). This game is about the story, so we took out saved progress and now you just have access to the whole game; play whatever you want whenever, no worries about having a saved game. We are currently addressing the issue of the "Shared Creations" thing on profile pages. That is a result of saving the game, not something we wanted to happen, which is part of why we took out saves. Oh, and we made it where only simple ads show up instead of videos.

- You do have some options in the game. You can change all of your controls, and there is a keyboard mode if you are using a laptop (or just like the keyboard).
- There are also several options for effects and debris that you can turn up or down depending on your computer.

Help us out! buy the epic soundtrack to the game made by Brian Sadler!

This is incredible, the long load screen paid off :)

Great action, but controls need getting use to, I love the cut scenes and how good the art and voice acting is. All in all this game is great, with it was longer and I'm hoping for a sequel!

If these guys don't make any headway into the programming world, they sure as hell can find ways to take their voice acting and writing talents far. This is great stuff, game play was "meh" sort of fun in a way...but the diamond is in the script. Funnier than certain cartoon shows on FOX currently aired, these people need to get together more often. Somebody said it best in one word: "Quality"...something tells me these guys are already pros that made this game as a hobby. If they aren't, here's hoping they keep this up and make it. Sure the game is so-so, but DAMN you just want to beat the levels just the see the cut's like vowing abstinence for a year, and finally being able to reach the promised land.

this game is fun but i cant stand the cutscenes

EldritchAbomination responds:

Hans says: Then play action mode! or autoskip cutscenes once you beat the game :)

Animations are great but the gameplay is ok

Well, holy shit, the cutscenes are AMAZING.
I mean, wow, it's like a serie you see on TV or an amazing Indie Game you see on Steam/XBLA, not a flash game...
The animation was smooth as shit, the writing was excellent, the characters are charming and have a good feel to this space thing.
The voice acting was possibly the highlight, it was PROFESSIONAL standards! Then again with people like Egoraptor and RicePirate it's hard to go wrong in that department.
The music is EPIC. Brian Sadler, you're a genius.

it's really shocking, when I pressed play I wasn't expecting such a cinematic experience on a flash portal...
Now, the gameplay, on the other hand...
The controls are terrible... Turning around is hard enoungh, shooting your oponent gets hard sometimes and dodging with A and D is a very hard task.
And I keep getting my controls locked up... Sometimes this happened due to lag, which isn't a surprise seeing how potentially graphical this game is, but sometimes regardless of how smooth the game was going I could only move the mouse Forward and Backwards from the ship. At first I thought it was some sort of lock-on system, since most of the time it happened when an enemy passed by my crosshair. But after some time I realized that was not what was causing it.
And I've had the game freezed once, when I tried to pause, but refresing fixed that problem. (In fact it wasn't even a complete freezing, the lazers kept shining but nothing was moving... Not even the lazers.)
By the way, I'm using Google Chrome.
But as much of a bad experience I had with controls and lag, it still was some decent and original gameplay. Besides, the cutscenes (along with the music) are just WAY too good for me to rate it less than 4.5 stars.
Once this game is complete (Since according to you you're going to keep adding more content) I swear you could ask money inchange of it and it would sell pretty well.
Maybe on XBLA?
I'm just thinking out loud, though.
So, in conclusion, Amazing cutscenes, stunning graphics, smooth animation, spot-on voice acting, and epic music, but it needs some fixes with the controls and the bugs. Sure you can customize these in keys but what I want is some sort of other options, like maybe Aiming with the mouse and moving the ship completely with the keyboard or something.
